Preparation

I have created this blog to let family and friends share our experiences leading up to and including our motorcycle trip to Alaska. In September of 2007 my friend Steve asked if Tracy and I would be interested in taking a bike trip to Alaska. I thought it would be out of the question and didn't pursue the matter. Tracy thought it would be "The chance of a life time" and so did I. She kept asking if we could go and I finally agreed when I realized she REALLY wanted to go. We got together with Steve and decided to leave May 23 and return sometime at the end of June. (off on vacation till July 1st.) We will be heading South before we go North. I will keep everyone informed as to our progress and will post during our trip. We will be traveling with our modern conveniences, lap top, G.P.S. and cell phones so we can share the beauty of our country with all.
